What if AI wrote Your CV?

I worked as a columnist for multiple newspapers for over 35 years. Yeah! Do the maths!!!! But there’s a large online archive of my writing and my public speaking profile. So I asked CHAT GPT to write a short author’s blurb for me. Apparently, I’m amazing.

But here’s the heads up. Recruitment agencies are using AI to define criteria for certain jobs and then they use AI to rank applicants using those criteria. You may want to check AI before lodging an application.

Here’s a few lines from my AI written author’s blurb just so you know how BRILLIANT I am.

‘Kerry Cue is a captivating author known for her witty, insightful, and often humorous explorations of the human experience.’

‘Kerry Cue’s writing will make you laugh, cry, and ponder, all while reminding you of the beauty in the ordinary.’

That’s me. I specialise in being brilliantly ordinary!!!!!!!

The Book Ninjas Strike Again!

THIS WRITER’S LIFE: So the , who set books loose on Australian public transport for commuters to take, read & return, dropped The Sunday Story Club off at Kyneton Station, my home town! I wrote 3 books about growing up on the Police Station in Kyneton. That is amazing synergy!

Doris and I wrote THE SUNDAY STORY CLUB so others can discover the magic running their own salon. And the idea that a random commuter might stumble across this idea is heart-warming.

The Antidote to FAKE online Personas

My co-author Doris Brett & I were overwhelmed with the enthusiasm for our book THE SUNDAY STORY CLUB (PanMac), @The Happiness Conference in Sydney on Mon. There seems to be a hunger out there for open and honest conversations. This is one theme of the book, which we wrote as an antidote to all those FAKE online personas. (Yes! Irony alert! I’m online here.)

Not only do we share stories from our salon, we also encourage and show you how to run your own salon to benefit from deeper connections with others.
