My satirical novel TARGET 91 looks at absurdities on both sides of the gun debate, but here is one of the many legal absurdities showcased in the book:

“This is how stupid the gun debate has become. Polk County Officials in Iowa have issued gun permits to people who are legally blind. Refusing a permit would, apparently, violate the Disabilities Act. Is this why the 2nd Amendment was written? So blind people can own guns? Do we really need a blind militia to protect this country?”
